Steam Next Fest is officially upon us for June 2025, and if your library isn't already overflowing with demos, it’s time to make room for the absolute standout of the season: Frequency Sync.
If you’ve ever wanted to literally feel the music while solving brain-teasing puzzles, this is the experience you’ve been waiting for. Developed by the wizards at Virtex Edge Design, Frequency Sync isn’t just a game—it’s a neon-soaked, beat-driven descent into a digital dimension where geometry and sound become one.
The Steam Next Fest Demo
The June 2025 Steam Next Fest is all about discovery, and Frequency Sync is the definition of a "hidden gem" ready to break out. The demo gives you a taste of the first few chapters, allowing you to experience the core mechanics before the full 40-level campaign drops later this year.
We're are actively looking for feedback during this window, so playing the demo isn't just about having fun—it’s about helping shape the future of this musical odyssey.

What is Frequency Sync?
Imagine a world where the soundtrack doesn't just play in the background—it’s the very architecture of the level. Frequency Sync is a fast-paced, music-based geometric puzzle game designed specifically for VR (SteamVR and Meta Quest).
Your mission? Drive the world and make it dance. You’ll piece together intricate geometric puzzles to construct musical tracks. Each piece you move pulses to specific frequency bands—from the deep thumping bass to the crisp, soaring trebles—giving you a level of audio-visual "synesthesia" that few games have ever achieved.

How to Play
Don’t let the festival pass you by without jumping into the frequency. You can grab the demo right now on Steam and Meta Quest.
